The SP-151 Sound Oasis Sleep Therapy Pillow with inline Volume Control is just the thing for those who want to be lulled to sleep by music without waking up a partner sleeping next to them. It is 51 centimeters (20 inches) by 66 centimeters (26 inches). It’s hypoallergenic, made of polyester fiberfill, and is hand washable. It features:
- Two ultra-thin removable stereo speakers (good idea when you wash it) with each positioned deep within pillow so you don’t feel like you are sleeping on hard lumps.
- Effortless volume controls
- Plug-in compatible with most electronic devices including MP3 players, CD players, iPods and others
Priced at $49.99 you can purchase it from Sound Oasis.
From reading one review I’m not sure a sound sleep will result when using this pillow. One purchaser states upon first using the pillow:
“I listened to Stevie Wonder and ended up listening to my entire collection of Motown anthologies. I didn’t get much sleep that night.”
I think that would be me as well. I never can fall asleep to that kind of music. I would bet it would work much better if you were listening to Gustav Mahler. His symphonies tend to lull me to restful sleep with or without a pillow.
